New Editor versions don't get installed through Hub
How to reproduce:
1. Open Hub
2. Click Installs
3. Click Add
4. Select a version-> 'Next' -> 'Done'
5. Wait till installing done
Expected result: Selected version is installed
Actual result: Installing last for a long time and after it's done the version disappears or installing stops and the 'Failed to download https://download.unity3d.com/download_unity/b7c424a951c0/Windows64EditorInstaller/UnitySetup64- EDITOR_VERSION .exe' error is occurring
Reproducible: 2.0.1 Hub version

I change the unity hub Unity editor folder setting, which I thought is for changing the code editor for unity, but actually it just download and install the Unity version you installed to that location, and it will cause Unity to disappear for some unknown reason. How stupid it is.

The issue remains but there is a work around.
In my case, I had to go to Preferences in the Unity Hub and choose a folder for Unity Editors Folder - it was empty before.
After that, it was fixed for me.
Thanks to BLACKGLADIATOR for the hint

Absolutely NOT fixed. Can't install any version through the hub on a new machine.

Changes are done in the Settings of the unity hub program, from there you can change the installation direction

Just change the Editor installation location onto another folder, this should fix this problem

Not fixed and the webs is broken looping me around back to login when I want to ask specif questions. I am creating a community of gamers and volunteers for a community sponsored and supported project, and the only two solutions I have found are either downgrading to Unity 2019.1.2.f1 or not use the hub at all and install 2020.1.8f1 but not have thins like android and ISO etc. already in place just to be able to use the editor with visual studios. My suggestion is get rid of the hub entirely, fix the compatibility issues and for goodness sake fix the website. Otherwise like others we are going to have to consider a competitor's service and start relearning and adapting projects as necessary till the software and website has been fixed and overhauled.
