Unity crashes when the gameobjects have a multi-cross references to serialized array

Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached project "case_903157_smallerProject.zip";
2. Build the scene "BuildProcessCrash";

Actual result: Unity crashes during building process.
Expected result: Unity should build the project.

Note: when the scene has some gameobjects with the script "PathNode.cs", Unity does not crash. It crashes, when the scene has many these gameobjects. Unity crashes just while building the project, in the Play mode, everything works fine.

Reproduced with: 5.5.0a6, 5.5.3p1, 5.6.0p2, 2017.1.0b2
