Player hangs when re-focusing the Player window after switching to a window that covers the Player window
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project “FocusBug.zip“
2. Build and Run (File > Build And Run)
3. While the Player window is selected, switch to another window of any other application and cover the Player window
4. Switch focus back to the Player window
Expected result: The Player doesn’t hang
Actual result: The Player hangs
Reproducible with: 2022.3.21f1, 2022.3.22f1, 2023.2.14f1, 2023.2.16f1, 6000.0.0b12, 6000.0.0b13
Not reproducible with: 2021.3.36f1, 2022.3.20f1, 2023.2.13f1, 6000.0.0b11
Reproducible on: macOS 14.4 Sonoma (Intel)
Not reproducible on: Windows 10

This is a pretty serious bug. It prevents us from updating Unity since a while now.

I'm also able to reproduce this on macOS 14.4 Sonoma with an M3 chip. I made a forum post about it here:

we've seen it on mac os 13.5 too. i hope this gets fixed soon, it's a very bad bug to have.
