Issue ID

672202

Regression

No

Objects lit by light probes appear brighter than static objects with same material in gamma mode

Global Illumination

-

Reproduction steps:

1. Open the attached project "case_672202"
2. Open Scene2 and wait for the the lighting to be built
3. Notice that one cube is significantly brighter, it is using light probes
4. The other cube is darker it is static
5. The only difference between these cubes is that one is static and the other one is not, they use the same material.

I believe that both cubes should be lit similarly.

This is clearly a regression to any 4.x release

I'm having the same issue and it's a huge problem IMO. Would be nice to see it fixed soon. Thanks.

Having this issue as well, but in Linear space, indoor scene, with point/spot/area lights. Probes are always too bright, cranking light intensity down did nothing.

Experiencing the same here. Unlike LeXuSMalus, I'm having this "overbright bug" regardless of light type. I have an interior scene, and it almost entirely is in a shadow for directional light. Therefore almost entire scene is lit only by spot and point lights.
But light probes are several times brighter then they should.

Found out that this only happens when baking directional light. Spot light and Point light baking lighting normally.
