Regression
No
Scene View doesn't select the Canvas when it's clicked with the View Tool
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project "ViewTool"
2. Open the "SampleScene" scene
3. Select and zoom in to the "base_rocks_group_01_URP" GameObject
4. Make sure the "Canvas" GameObject borders are visible
5. With the "base_rocks_group_01_URP" GameObject selected, select the "View Tool" and click on the Canvas in the Scene View
6. Try to zoom in/out and observe the results
Expected results: Since Canvas is not selected in the Hierarchy and the Scene view, the zoom in/out behaves normally
Actual results: Despite Canvas not being selected zoom in/out behaves like Canvas is selected
Reproducible with: 6000.0.51f1, 6000.1.5f1, 6000.2.0b4
Reproducible on: macOS Sequoia 15.4 (M1)
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Note: Other tools work as expected and Canvas becomes selected when clicked on it
