Objects lit by light probes appear brighter than static objects with same material in gamma mode
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached project "case_672202"
2. Open Scene2 and wait for the the lighting to be built
3. Notice that one cube is significantly brighter, it is using light probes
4. The other cube is darker it is static
5. The only difference between these cubes is that one is static and the other one is not, they use the same material.
I believe that both cubes should be lit similarly.

Can we get any indication on when to expect a fix? I would settle for soon or unknown. After five months we are close to abandoning this feature as our deadlines do not allow us to wait much longer.

Any news on fixing this issue? It is really hard to get properly lit dynamic objects on mobile.

It is really worrying. This is causing us major problems also and we are due an end of year release on mobile. Plodding along not knowing if it will be possible is not great for office morale. Any ETA unity peeps?

This is show stopping issue for the lighting pipeline on our project.
Big Mobile IP planned for autumn release with a well known publisher, and is looking like a massive step backwards because of these problems.
Our probe based shaders were looking in great in 4.x, now they are useless because
of this on going problem.
This has been an issue since February, I'm amazed that it still has not been addressed
nearly 5 months later.

This is a major issue, and some feedback from the Unity team on this would be incredibly helpful. I've independently encountered this same issue and verified these results, and am confident it indicates that probe baking is broken in the general case in 5.0.x.

An even clearer indication that lightprobes are currently baked incorrectly is that a single light lights more than half of a sphere.
