Version 2019.1.6f1 still has this problem, how many unity installs do we have to have on our machine in order for one feature to work?

2018.4 LTS version should also have this fix, right?

When finally backported to 2019.1 & 2, will it be feedbacked on this issue tracker too ? (since it's already occupied by the mention 'fixed in 2019.3').

Well, Unity 2019.1.4 is released, and this is still NOT fixed. Disappointed.

I feel changing alpha and sprites in an animation is a pretty basic thing that happens way too often in even the smallest project.

This should be backported to 2019.1 and 2019.2 instantly. It's currently blocking updating to newer versions for way too many projects of devs I know.

    Please, help us Unity. Thanks!

We cannot migrate to Unity 2019.1 because of this issue. Please Unity, this bug is too common, it needs the highest priority.

Hi all! Please notice that what "Fixed in Unity 2019.3" means, is that it was the first version where the issue was fixed. This issue has currently backports active for 2019.1 and 2019.2.

Here there is a quick explanation of how the Unity releases (and fixes) work
