Regression
Yes
Game view becomes black and the Scene window becomes grey, “ArgumentOutOfRangeException” errors and “Render Pipeline error” warnings appear after changing the name or deleting URP/HDRP global settings file
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new project using a 3D URP or HDRP Core template
2. Change the name or delete the “SampleScenereProfile” Volume Profile
3. Observe the Game, Scene, and Console windows
Expected result: The Game window is not black, the Scene is not grey, and there are no errors or warnings
Actual result: The Game window is black, the Scene is grey, and there are “ArgumentOutOfRangeException” errors and “Render Pipeline error” warnings
Reproducible with: 14.0.7 (2022.2.20f1, 2022.2.21f1), 14.0.8 (2022.3.1f1), 15.0.5 (2023.1.0b20), 16.0.2 (2023.2.0a18)
Not reproducible with: 12.1.12 (2021.3.27f1), 14.0.7 (2022.2.19f1)
Reproduced on: macOS 13.2.1 (Intel)
Note: reproducible in URP and HDRP (if using HDRP, then it’s the “SkyandFogSettingsProfile” Volume Profile file in the 2nd step)
