"Edit Collider" button in Inspector doesn't bring edit handles if the project is opened for the first time
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new Unity 2D/3D project and open it
2. Create an empty game object in the Hierarchy
3. Add a 2D/3D collider component to it
4. Press "Edit Collider" button in Inspector
Result: edit handles don't appear on the collider (watch attached gif)
Workaround: restart Unity
Reproduced with: 5.4.1p4, 5.5.0b6
Not reproducible with: 5.2.5f1, 5.3.6p7
