World Space Canvas button gets triggered by incorrect position of mouse in the game window when buttons are close to the camera

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new project
2. Import SteamVR asset
3. Open Scene Interactions_Example
4. Enter playmode
5. Move the "UI & Hints" gameobject close to the camera
6. Keep mouse in focused game window
7. Move HMD up and down while viewing world space buttons

Expected result: buttons only get highlighted when mouse or(if applicable) vive controllers are hovering
Actual result: buttons get highlighted from the area around them

Reproduced on 5.4.5p1 5.5.3f1 5.6.0f3, 2017.0a6

Notes:
-buttons do not get triggered when the Game window is not in focus
-buttons do not get triggered from a large distance
