Visible artifacts on a Sprite Atlas preview image when using ASTC 6x6 Compression with Fast quality
Reproduction steps:
- Open the attached “SpriteAtlasTest.zip” project
- Ensure that the “iOS” Platform is selected in the Build Settings (File > Build Settings)
- Select the “Assets/ResourceIconSpriteAtlas.spriteatlasv2” Sprite Atlas Asset in the Project window
- Observe the preview of the compressed texture in the Inspector window
Expected result: The preview image is compressed correctly and doesn’t contain any artifacts
