VFX file gets modified without making changes when saving project
Reproduction steps:
1. Upload the attached project “ModifiedVFXBug” folder to a local repository using the preferred version control application
2. Open the “ModifiedVFXBug” project
3. Save the project File → Save Project
4. Open the version control application and look for changes in files “water.vfx” and “waterima.vfx”
Expected result: There are no changes in files “water.vfx” and “waterima.vfx” after saving project
Actual result: There are several changes in files “water.vfx” and “waterima.vfx” without doing any manual changes
Reproducible with: 8.1.0 (2021.1.0a1), 12.1.8 (2021.3.15f1), 13.1.9 (2022.1.24f1), 14.0.4 (2022.2.1f1), 15.0.2 (2023.1.0a23)
Not reproducible with: 10.10.1 (2020.3.42f1)
Reproducible on: macOS 13.0.1 (Intel)
Notes:
- Couldn't find exact regression because of inconsistent reproduction on older Editor versions
- On 2021.1.0a1 could only reproduce once

+1 for us, we're on 2022.2.8f1. The issue even causes the VFX to disappear for the teammembers that experience the bug.

+1 for this one, with Plastic's slightly limited functionality this causes a big headache for us as well.
Wasn't an issue on 12.1.6 (2021.3.0f1). -
