Unity occasionally won't load project
How to reproduce:
1. Open Unity
2. Load user submitted project
3. Close unity (Do until Unity won't show editor with loaded project)
Expected result: User project is loaded every time
Actual result: Sometimes Unity intializes editor process but won't load the project and show editor itself
Regression first introduced in - 5.6.2p4
Reproducible with - 5.6.2p4, 5.6.3f1, 5.6.3p4, 2017.1.0f3, 2017.2.0b11, 2017.3.0a1, 2017.3.0a3, 2017.3.0a7, 2017.3.0b3
Not reproducible with - 5.5.5f1, 5.6.0a1, 5.6.2f1, 5.6.2p3, 2017.2.0f1, 2017.2.0f2.2p3, 2017.2.0f1, 2017.2.0f2

Still happening in 2018... It's happened twice to me within a week, when ending the unity process unexpectedly.

I assume this is what is happening with my projects, although almost all the time. On projects old and new opened with both 2017.1.0p4 and 2017.2.0f3. Here is a fresh Editor.log from trying to open a project on 2017.2.0f3 https://pastebin.com/WekvSRWC . Hopefully we'll get the fix soon.
