Unity Logo texture is included in builds even when Splash Screen is disabled
How to reproduce:
1. Open the “2022.2.0a5_splashTexture“ project
2. In Player Settings disable Splash Screen
3. In Build Settings make sure the “SampleScene“ is included in the Build
4. Select File → Build and Run
5. Open the Editor.log
6. Press “CRTL+F“ and search for “Build Report“
Expected result: “Unity Logo“ or “UnitySplash-Light“ is seen under the “Build Report“ section
Actual result: “Unity Logo“ or “UnitySplash-Light“ are not seen
Reproducible with: 2022.2.0a6, 2022.3.21f1, 2023.2.14f1, 6000.0.0b11
Not reproducible with: 2021.3.36f1, 2022.2.0a5
Reproducible on: Windows 10, macOS 14.3.1
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Workaround: If you go to the Player Settings, enable the Splash Screen, disable the Show Unity Logo, and disable the Splash Screen again, the texture will not be present
