Unity Hub closes with no "Project is currently open" window when selecting an already open project from the Projects list
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Unity Hub
- Go to Settings > Appearance
- In the Menu bar options, make sure both "Unity Editor opens" and "closing the Hub" options are not enabled
- Create a new project with any of the latest versions (e.g. 6000.5.0a5)
- Open the newly created project (if it does not open automatically)
- Select the project again from the Hub Project tab
- Observe Hub
Actual results: Hub instantly closes
Expected results: Pop-up window saying "Project is currently open" opens, and Hub does not close
Reproducible with versions: 3.16.1
Tested on (OS): Ubuntu 24.04, Windows 11
Note: The issue does not occur on older versions, specifically tested 6000.3.0a1 and 2023.3.62f1, where a pop-up opens instead, saying the project is currently open
