Unity Editor crashes when switching to Game View in ARMobile, VR, or Mixed Reality projects on Windows ARM64
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new Unity Project using one of the following templates (AR Mobile, VR, Mixed Reality)
- Switch from the Scene View to Game View
- Observe the Editor behaviour
Actual results: The Unity Editor closes/crashes immediately upon switching to Game View and automatically removing the project from the Hub project list
Expected results: The Editor switches to Game View without crashing
Reproducible with versions: 6000.1.0a2, 6000.1.4f1, 6000.2.0b2
Not reproducible with versions:: 2022.3.62f1, 6000.0.49f1
Tested on (OS): Windows 11 ARM64
Notes:
- Also Reproducible when you Enter Play mode
- Crash is consistent across ARMobile, VR, and Mixed Reality templates
- May be related to rendering or device compatibility under ARM64 architecture
- No relevant console or log output is visible before the crash
-
Resolution Note:
null
