UUM-113173
Regression
No
UI text turns red when performing certain actions inside the Editor
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new project using the 6000.3.0a3 Editor version
2. Downgrade the project to an older 6.3 version
3. Upgrade the project back to 6000.3.0a3
4. Focus on different windows inside the Editor (Profiler, Inspector, Project, etc.)
5. Observe the Editor UI
Expected result: Editor UI text color remains the same
Actual result: Editor UI text turns red in different Editor windows
Reproducible in: 6000.3.0a3 (reporter)
Reproducible on: Windows 11 (reporter)
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Notes:
- Not reproduced internally by CQA
- Happens in multiple different Editor windows seemingly at random (Profiler, Object Picker, etc.)
- Color Blind Mode was not utilized inside the Profiler window to reproduce the issue (not a duplicate of UUM-10184 in terms of reproduction steps)
- Issue is only observable sometimes - affected users go through long periods of time before encountering the red text again
- The red text disappears once the Editor window is closed and re-opened
- Tested on macOS 15.5 (M1), Windows 10, Windows 11 for possible reproduction by CQA. Unable to reproduce on those environments, but that doesn’t guarantee the issue does not reproduce there at all.

Cannot reproduce the issue without downgrading. Unity doesn't officially support downgrading as it might cause unexpected results. Our importers each have a version that can change between versions.
