UI Image fill amount breaks when value is set to 0 through script
To reproduce:
1. Open attached project
2. Open test scene
3. Select test game object
4. Press play
5. Press Down Arrow till fill amount value is 0
6. Press Up Arrow
7. Notice than Fill amount value changes, but image doesn't appear
Workaround: Drag fill amount slider the image will render again.

Here we are in 2019 using unity 2018.3.3f1 and this issue is still an issue.

Yeah, this isn't fixed. It seems to not break things when you use a slider as provided by GameObject->UI->Slider, but then the slider fill does not disappear even when the value is 0. Hard to imagine that this is intended behaviour.

hi , i have the same issues when i tried to fillAmount of an "UI.Image" to 1.0 then it crashes on webGL. in unty editor it shows an error too. i had checked manual but no hope at all. is this issue fixed in 5.0?

It hasn't been solved in Unity5 yet.... I have the same Bren's problem...

BTW, using a lowest value > 0 did not fix the issue.
This is in 4.6.1f1, so it appears this is not fixed.

Experiencing the same when fillAmount is driven by animation. Works in the tool when setting keyframes, scrubbing, previewing, etc. Does not work at run time. Though, yeah, if you click on the moving slider in the Inspector, it will visually update to its current fill amount for that frame.
