Regression
Yes
UI child elements do not update correctly when parent has nested Canvas but no CanvasRenderer
How to reproduce:
1. Load the attached project, scene "test"
2. Expand the GameObject "ExpandMe"
3. Move the GameObject "MoveMe" around (e.g. change the PosX parameter)
4. Observe, that the white image (the child of that GameObject) is not moved in the scene view. If you change any property of the child image then it gets updated immediately (even unrelated properties like "Preserve Aspect")
5. Now add a "CanvasRenderer" Component to "MoveMe"
6. Move "MoveMe" again
7. Now the image is correctly moved along with the parent.
