[UDP] User remains blocked from entering UDP settings after enabling Cloud Services
[UDP] User remains blocked from entering UDP settings after enabling Cloud Services
After installing the Universal Distribution Portal (UDP) package, "UDP Settings" will be exposed to the user. If the user's project is not registered with Cloud Services when trying to access these UDP Settings, the Inspector pane will block the Settings view, displaying a message referring to the Services window and a button redirecting there. After activating Cloud Services, if the user returns to the UDP Settings Inspector pane, they will remain blocked from accessing the UDP Settings until defocusing the asset in the Inspector pane (focusing another asset) and refocusing.
Steps to reproduce:
- In Unity 2019.3, create a new project and install the Universal Distribution Portal (UDP) package
- Menu: Window > Universal Distribution Portal > Settings
- Observe in the UDP Settings Inspector pane, that the settings are blocked from the user until they register the project with Cloud Services
- UDP Settings Inspector pane > Click "Go to Services Window"
- Register the project with Cloud Services
- Return to the UDP Settings Inspector pane
- Observe the user is still blocked from the settings referencing Cloud Services, however the project has been registered
- Focus on any other asset in the Inspector
- Re-focus the UDP Settings asset
- Observe the settings are now unlocked
