Texture3D Asset is twice the size when creating Texture3D Asset via script
How to reproduce:
- Open the attached project "Texture3D bug.zip"
- Select Assets/Textures/Texture3D.asset
Expected results: The Texture3D Asset size shown in the Inspector window is "256.0 MB"
Actual results: The Texture3D Asset size shown in the Inspector window is "0.50 GB"
Reproducible with: 2020.3.45f1, 2021.3.18f1, 2022.2.7f1, 2023.1.0b4, 2023.2.0a2
