Sun and Clouds are distorted when using Tonemapping mode ACES
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “IN-122530_SampleProject_IDG.zip” project
2. Observe the Sun and Volumetric Clouds in Scene View
Expected Results: The Sun and Clouds are rendered correctly
Actual Results: The Sun and Clouds are distorted
Reproducible with: 2023.3.0a16, 6000.0.61f1, 6000.2.11f1, 6000.3.0b9, 6000.4.0a4
Not reproducible with: 2023.3.0a15
Reproducible on: Windows 11 Pro (24H2)
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Notes:
- Switching to any other Tonemapping mode in the Volume settings makes the issue not reproduce anymore
- If you do not see the issue tweak the Emission Intensity on the Direction Light GameObject (child of Day GameObject) in the Inspector or enter Play Mode to refresh
