State Machine states are deleted when State Machine is removed from Animator Controller
How to reproduce:
1. Open attached project ("StateMachineAssetClearedBug.zip")
2. Open AnimatorController and open Animator window
3. Delete MyStateMachine state machine from Animator window
4. Add MyStateMachine asset to Animator window
5. Open MyStateMachine State Machine
Expected result: States from State Machine are present
Actual result: States from State Machine are deleted
Reproducible with: 2017.4.32f1, 2018.4.8f1, 2019.2.4f1, 2019.3.0b2, 2020.1.0a3
