Standard shader with a low smoothness value shows banding in WebGL
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached project "WebGLBanding" and open the scene "spherescene"
2. Build the game for WebGL and play
3. Notice, that there are wide bands on the sphere (screenshot attached WebGLBanding.png)
Notes:
1. This effect seems to appear on objects with materials that use the standard shader with low smoothness
2. Tested with both Firefox and Chrome
