SkinnedMeshRenderer starts flickering after resuming an app

To reproduce:
1. Open the attached project
2. Build and run on iPhone4 with iOS 7.0.4
3. Press home button
4. Click on an app icon again
5. Wait for a couple of seconds
6. Repeat 3-5 steps until the mesh renderer starts flickering.

    I just found out that i have nearly the same issue with unity 5 right now

    Alright. I can verify this issue is fixed for my project in Unity 4.5

    I can verify I'm also still seeing this issue occurring with 4.3.4f1 on my Handy Art Tool app. It's now put me in a very hard place that makes it difficult to update the app anymore.

    Why is this issue closed? I'm still seeing it occurring in latest Unity. I can't update my app anymore because of this!

    I'm also seeing this issue with Unity 4.3.4f on iPhone 4 and iPad Air, iPhone4s. Please fix it as soon as possible!!!!! it' s very serious bug!

    I'm seeing this marked as "fixed", I don't know when that happened, but it still happens using Unity3d 4.3.4f1 on an iPhone 4 running iOS 7.1
