Single particles in the Particle System randomly scale out when the simulation is playing
Reproduction steps:
1. Create a project with any template and open it
2. Import "fireParticles.unitypackage" to the project
3. Add “Embers (1).prefab” to the Scene ( Assets > Art > UI )
4. Play the Particle simulation
5. Observe the Particle System in the Game view for at least 30 seconds
Expected results: No particles scale/glitch out
Actual result: A random particle scales/glitches out every 5-10 seconds for a few frames
Reproducible with: 2022.1.0a11, 2022.3.14f, 2023.2.2f1, 2023.3.0a16
Not reproducible with: 2021.3.32f, 2022.1.0a10
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: no other environment tested
Notes:
- Also reproducible in the Play mode and the Player
- Since the scaling only lasts 1-2 frames, it can be hard to notice it sometimes. In the attached screenshot the issue is more apparent
- Could not reproduce with a different prefab
