Scene view is grayed out, “Assertion failed”, "NullReferenceException", and "ArgumentNullException" errors are thrown when opening GameObject Prefab in Context Mode
How to reproduce:
1. Open the “DeferredIssue“ project
2. Open the “SampleScene”
3. Open the “Cube” GameObject Prefab in Context Mode
4. Observe the Scene view and the Console
Expected result: Scene view displays prefab in context and no errors are logged to the Console
Actual result: Scene view is fully greyed out and “Assertion failed” errors are logged to the Console
Reproduced with: 2022.2.0a16, 2022.3.0f1, 2023.1.0b18, 2023.2.0a17
Not reproduced with: 2021.3.26f1, 2022.2.0a15
Could not test with: 2020.3.48f1 (Could not resolve Renderer issues)
Fixed in: 2023.1.0b19
Reproduced on: Windows 11
Notes:
1. Errors logged to the Console are provided in internal comments
2. To open a Prefab in Context Mode locate the GameObject in Hierarchy and select the arrow next to its name
