Prefab variable overrides of a serialized class aren’t saved when changing them by code
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “Prefab Override Repro.zip“ project
2. Open the “TestScene“ Scene
3. Select the “TestPrefab“ GameObject in the Hierarchy
4. Press the “Add“ button in the “Scene Behaviour“ Script Component
5. Right-click on the “TestPrefab“ prefab in the Assets folder and press “Reimport“
6. Repeat step 3
Expected result: Variables in the “Element 1” list item don’t disappear
Actual result: Variables in the “Element 1” list item disappear
Reproducible with: 2021.3.32f1, 2022.3.13f1, 2023.1.20f1, 2023.2.0f1, 2023.3.0a14
Reproducible on: macOS 14.0 Sonoma (Intel)
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Note: The variable changes are saved if they are edited manually before reimporting
