Position of the duplicated child game object is not precisely the same as the original game objects position
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new Unity project
2. Create a UI Text object
3. Create UI Image object as a child of the Text object
4. Change one of images position values to a floating point number (e.g. change Y to 12.24)
5. Duplicate the image
6. Notice the duplicated image position is different from the original by a very small number (in this case, 12.23999. See the screencast here: http://screencast.com/t/jBhtLle0)
Note: This happens with 3D game objects as well, not just UI elements. Does not happen if the position values are whole numbers.

I also file a report for this. I even gave them a solution but the develop team say this won't be solved, even with a solution in their hands.
