MARS-1525
Regression
Yes
Navigation performed transfers to the Scene View Window when navigating in the Simulation View Window
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “MARS 3D Core” project
2. Open the “Assets/Scenes/MARS Test.unity” Scene
3. In the Simulation View Window, try to navigate using the mouse or the View tool
4. Observe the Window
Expected result: The navigation works
Actual result: The navigation in the Simulation View Window is transferred to the Scene View Window
Reproducible with: 1.5.0 (2022.3.14f1, 2022.3.31)
Not reproducible with: 1.5.0 (2021.3.39f1, 2022.3.13f1)
Could not test with: package versions lower than 1.5.0 (Could not downgrade the package to due its dependencies), 1.5.0 (6000.0.5f1) (Multiple “error CS0012” compilation errors))
Reproducible on: MacOS Sonoma 14.5 (Intel), Windows 11 (user’s)
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Workaround: Maximize the Simulator View Window
Notes:
- The issue can be reproduced in a blank project with the MARS package
- The rest of the UI and tools in those Windows work
- The issue occurs regardless of the Window’s location
- If the workaround is performed, trying to navigate in the Device View Window, apply the navigation to the Simulation View Window
- Restarting the Editor resets to the actual behavior if the workaround was performed during the previous session
