[iOS] Player crashes at ShouldUpdateTransformBefore when instantiating GameObjects into a ScrollRect
To reproduce:
1. Open project attached by the user
2. Build it for iOS platform (with "Main" scene attached)
3. Run the application
4. Play the game (following instructions) till the application crashes
Reproduced with: 2017.3.0b9, 2017.3.0p2, 2018.1.0b3
Not reproduced with: 2017.2.1p2, 2017.3.0b6
2017.1 build failed because of issues with Unity Linker
Device: iPhone 7+ iOS 10.3.2
Fixed in: 2018.2.0a1
Backported to: 2018.1.0b6, 2017.3.1p1

I downgrade from 2017.3.0b10 to 2017.2.1p2 as mentioned. everything works fine now.
but i can't use crunched etc for android image compression. :(

I see a similar crash (ShouldUpdateTransformBefore) but also have no ScrollRect. I do have RectTransforms with no width or height, but are scaled to 1. I don't have an iOS device with 10.3 so I am only seeing this from performance reports and users.

it's also in 2017.3.0b10, i upgraded from 5.5.1f1 and i am stuck with iOS crash.
hope 2017.2 will help, will let you know guys

Also had this issue, also fixed it by downgrading to 2017.2. Issue was present at least on iPad Air 1, iPhone X, and iPhone 6+.

Also have the same issue. I don't have any scroll rect but I load my UI using additive load. Could this be a threading issue. My repro rate is 50%.
