Wow Unity. This is terrible. Gizmos are even more important in VR cause you don't have a scene view that you can just glance over.
Fix this!

Is this still an outstanding wont fix? Game View Gizmos for VR is a must!

Not having this feature is a huge PITA. At least explain why you aren't going to fix the problem.

Agree with @MATTNEWPORT - this would be extremely useful for VR devs. What is the justification for not fixing?

What's the justification for not fixing this? This would be extremely useful for VR development and there's no good alternative currently available.

They're not even visible on the game view. If you go to the camera and set the target eye to "nothing" they show in the game view, but OFC the image is no longer on the HMD. I'm using 2017.1 btw, so this has been a bug for a while.

It's not just in HMD they aren't visible for me, they aren't even visible in game view. This is with Unity 5.6.1f1.
As JO3W4RD points out, this is a big issue as some problems are only feasible to debug in VR with the HMD on which prevents you seeing the scene view. I end up placing a lot of temporary spheres and cubes in the scene or debugging purposes to work around this problem.

*bump* Still not fixed or do I just have to change a setting?
