GameObject with Static Batching and multiple alpha-clipped materials casts different shadows when in Play Mode with URP
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached "PROJECTFILE" project
2. Open the "Assets/Scenes/SampleScene.unity" scene
3. Observe the “TwoPlaneMeshPrefab” GameObject shadows in the Scene view and Game View
4. Enter the Play Mode
5. Observe the Game View
Expected result: The “TwoPlaneMeshPrefab” GameObject shadows don’t change and are displayed like before entering the Play Mode
Actual result: The “TwoPlaneMeshPrefab” GameObject shadows change and only the red plane shadows can be seen
Reproducible with: 2021.3.29f1, 2022.3.8f1, 2023.1.10f1, 2023.2.0b7, 2023.3.0a2
Reproducible on: macOS 13.4.1 (M1 Max)
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Note:
-No reproduction when Static Batching on the “TwoPlaneMeshPrefab” GameObject is disabled
-Couldn’t reproduce this issue with HDRP
