GameObject is pink if using a Material with a Diffusion Profile and having "Volume" Volume Mask selected
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project “VolumeBugFinal.zip“
2. Open the “OutdoorsScene“ Scene
3. Observe the “Capsule“ GameObject
Expected result: The Diffusion is visible (the GameObject is green)
Actual result: The GameObject is pink
Reproducible with: 2022.2.0a13, 2022.2.16f1, 2023.1.0b12, 2023.2.0a8
Not reproducible with: 2021.3.23f1, 2022.2.0a12, 2023.2.0a12
Fixed in: 2023.2.0a9
Can’t test with: 2020.3.47f1 (“[Worker0] Graphics.CopyTexture source and destination have different master texture limits. Source 1, Destination 0“ error)
Reproduced on: macOS 13.0.1 (Intel), Windows 11 (by reporter)
Note:
- Reproducible in Builds
- Diffusion becomes visible if the "Default" Volume mask is selected
- If the “Diffusion Profile List” Override is added to the “Volume” Component of the “Sky and Fog Volume” GameObject, the Diffusion becomes visible
