UUM-128759
Regression
Yes
Errors thrown constantly when Virtual Offset Debug is enabled and lighting was baked on AMD machine
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “IN-119345” project
2. Open Scene (Assets → Scenes → IndoorsScene → IndoorsScene)
3. Enable (Window → Analysis → Rendering Debugger → Probe Volumes → Virtual Offset Debug)
4. Click “Generate Lighting” in (Window → Rendering → Lighting) window
5. Observe the Console window
Expected result: No errors
Actual result: Error “Invalid AABB result” is thrown every frame
Reproducible with: 2023.3.0a12, 6000.0.62f1, 6000.2.7f2
Not reproducible with: 2023.3.0a4, 6000.2.12f1, 6000.3.0b10, 6000.4.0a4, 6000.5.0a1
Could not test with: 2023.3.0a5-2023.3.0a11 (Unity crashes in all “Could not test with” versions)
Fixed in: 6000.2.8f1 (c9992ac36c34)
Reproduced on: Windows 11 Enterprise (CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800 8-Core 3.4GHz, GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT)
Not reproduced on: Windows 11 Enterprise (CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11900H 2.50GHz, GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU)
Notes:
- Click “Generate Lighting” at least 5 times and observe the Console window each time, because it does not always reproduce
- Could not find FAV, because FAV likely exists in a version that is in "Could not test with", due to Unity editor crashing
