Error is thrown when creating a new Scene from a Scene Template that has an AnimatorController checked to be cloned
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project
2. Create a new "Error" Scene (File->New Scene->Error)
3. Inspect the Console Window
Expected result: The Scene is created successfully and no errors are thrown
Actual result: "Assertion failed on expression: '\!(transfer.IsRemapPPtrTransfer() && SerializeTraits<FirstClass>::MightContainPPtr() && transfer.IsReadingPPtr())'" error is thrown
Reproducible with: 2020.3.10f1, 2021.1.9f1, 2021.2.0a19
Couldn't test with: 2018.4.35f1, 2019.4.28f1 (Feature is not available)

Also getting this issue in Unity 6. Untitled scene is made but isn't present anywhere in the project folder.
