[Editor] Preview pane does not redraw on reimport from Import Settings
Preview of Model is not real-time updated on changing the properties from Import Settings
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new project
2. Copy attached file (bevelled_cube.fbx) into Assets and select it in the project window
3. Change the normals mode to "None" on the Model tab
4. Click on Apply
5. Note that the lighting of the cube in the Preview pane has not changed
6. Tumble the cube in the Preview pane
7. Note that the lighting of the cube updates as soon as the Preview pane is redrawn
Expected Result:
Preview of 3D Model updates when Apply is clicked
Actual Result:
Preview of 3D Model does not update when Apply is clicked
Reproducible on:
2019.2.0a8, 2019.1.0b7, 2019.1.0a3, 2018.3.0f2, 2018.3.0b7
Working fine on:
2019.1.0a2, 2018.3.0b6, 2017.3.1p4, 2018.2.7f1
Environment:
Windows 10 and MacOS 10.14
Workaround:
On selecting the Preview Window changes reflect on Model
