Directional lights are cut off by a sharp edge when passing behind a volumetric cloud
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached "volumetric_clouds_issue" project
2. Open the "OutdoorsScene" and enter Play mode
3. Select the "Sun" GameObject in the Hierarchy tab
4. In the Inspector, change the rotation fields of the Transform component to position the light behind a cloud
5. Observe the result
Expected result: The light experiences a smooth transition when passing behind a cloud
Actual result: The light is cut off by a sharp edge
Reproducible in: 2023.2.0a18, 2023.2.18f1, 6000.0.0b14
Not reproducible in 2021.3.37f1, 2022.3.24f1, 2023.2.0a17
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
