Custom Event node is not triggered when Get Variable node is connected in Play mode
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached “IN-101100” project
2. In the Project tab, open the “SampleScene”
3. Enter Play mode
4. In the Project tab, select the “Test” Script Graph
5. Connect the “Get variable” node to “Custom Event” node
6. Observe the Game view
Expected result: “Cube” GameObject spins
Actual result: “Cube” GameObject does not spin
Reproducible with: 1.8.0 (2022.3.0f1,2023.2.0a23), 1.9.6 (2022.3.62f1, 6000.0.49f1, 6000.1.4f1, 6000.2.0b2)
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Note: Entering Play mode after the nodes are connected spins the “Cube” GameObject
