[Linux Editor] Changing the extension of an .anim file results in a crash
Steps to reproduce:
1) Extract and open the project attached by user
2) Notice the file UIanim in the Assets folder. It was renamed from UI.anim after attaching an animation component to the Canvas in the scene
3) Press 'Play'
4) Unity crashes.
*Note: renaming UIanim back to UI.anim makes Unity work as expected.
*Note#2: 5.2.2f1 recognizes this asset as corrupt, therefore it doesn't crash.
Reproduced on:
5.4.0b15, 5.3.4f1, 5.3.3f1
Did not reproduce on:
5.2.2f1
