Canvas inside canvas resets position/anchors when entering play mode
Steps to reproduce:
1. open attached "ErrorProject.zip"
2. open scene LEperiment
3. select "LoreCanvas" in hierarchy
4. center RectTransform anchors
5. enter play mode
Actual: position gets reset to previous
Expected: stay in position

Reproduced: 5.4.0p2, 5.4.1f1. 5.4.1p1, 5.5.0a5, 5.5.0b2
Not reproducible: 5.2.5f1, 5.3.6p2, 5.5.0b3, 5.5.0b6

Still getting this issue in 2018.2.2f1 (64 Bit). Unity just releases new Updates every month without addressing and resolving the reported issues. Now I cannot vote for this issue as it saying
"Voting disabled for resolved issues (Fix in review)". What does this mean. They must mention Version in which they have resolved issue.

The fix has been backported to the 5.4 patch release line now as well.

Issue is fixed from 5.5.0b3 onwards.
The fix is not on 5.4.

I just upgraded to 5.4.1f1 from 5.3.5p2 and discovered this bug. Super annoying! My fix (until it's gets fixed for real) is to create a script that corrects the rectTransform settings on Start. That way it kind of fixes what unity destroys.

Does anybody know a workaround for this issue. My friend and I are making a game for School that we have to hand in a week from now and our game is basically broken because of this bug! We really need help!

Not fixed yet. Serious showstopper bug. Does Unity devs know that this is still an issue to fix? ... like... does someone from Unity read comments on "Fixed" issues?? Do we need to start spamming emails?
