Canvas GameObject Rect Transform’s Width and Height values are applied incorrectly, and Canvas is being stretched in the Simulator when changing the Scene in Play Mode
How to reproduce:
1. Open the "IN_60626" project
2. In the Simulator Window "Device Selection" dropdown select any phone
3. Set orientation to portrait using the "Rotate" buttons
4. Open the "Splash_Scene"
5. Enter the Play Mode
6. In the Simulator press the "LOGIN-Developer" button
7. Observe the Simulator
Expected result: "Canvas_MOBILE_MainMenu_Scene" is not stretched
Actual result: "Canvas_MOBILE_MainMenu_Scene" is stretched
Reproducible with: 2022.3.13f1, 2023.1.20f1, 2023.2.0b18
Couldn't test with: 2021.3.32f1, 2023.3.0a14 (due to errors in the Console)
Reproducible on: Windows 10 Pro
Not reproducible with: No other environment tested
Notes:
- Not reproducible in the Player
- Not reproducible in the Game View
- Doesn't reproduce on tablet emulators (such as iPad)
Workaround:
After entering the Play Mode select the other device in the Simulator and go back to the previous device.

The current behavior is intended. Looking down the road, adding a warning when the resolution is changed to DeviceSimulator may be considered. But at present the behavior is as intended.
