Regression
Yes
Can't remove RectTransform because other non-UI components depend on it
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create new project
2. Add cube to scene
3. Add RectTransform
4. Right click on Rect Transform header in inspector and click Remove Component
5. Notice message that it's impossible to remove component because Mesh Filter, Mesh Collider and Mesh Renderer depend on it
Expected: Component is removed and replaced with Transform component
Additional steps:
6. Press ctrl + z to undo Add RectTransform step
7. Notice that component is removed without any errors
Reproduced with: 2018.1.0a1, 2018.1.0b3
Not reproducible: 2017.3.0p2
