Issue ID
MARS-1526
Regression
No
Builds fail with multiple errors when the MARS package is installed
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached "MARS 3D Core" project
2. Build and run the Player (File > Build And Run)
3. Observe the Editor
Expected result: The Build succeeds
Actual result: The Build fails with the "BuildFailedException: Unity MARS Build Failed" and “Please enable the 'ARCore' plugin in 'XR Plug-in Management'“ errors and multiple warnings are thrown as well
Reproducible with: 1.5.0 (2022.3.31)
Not reproducible with: 1.5.0 (2021.3.39f1)
Could not test with: package versions lower than 1.5.0 (Could not downgrade the package to due its dependencies), 1.5.0 (6000.0.5f1) (Multiple “error CS0012” compilation errors))
Reproducible on: MacOS Sonoma 14.5 (Intel), Windows 11 (user’s)
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- The issue is reproducible on a blank project with the MARS package installed
- The ARCore is enabled but the build error is still thrown
