Assets with serializedVersion: 6 meshes are not rendered
Steps:
1. Open attached project "MeshImportFail-withScript.zip"
2. Select the "TestMesh" mesh asset and check the Preview window
Expected: the mesh is drawn.
Actual: the mesh is not drawn.
3. Create a sphere in the scene and replace the mesh to be "TestMesh" mesh asset
4. Observe scene view.
Expected: the mesh is drawn.
Actual: the mesh is not drawn.
Reproduced with: 2018.1.0b1, 2018.1.9f2, 2018.2.8f1, 2018.3.0b2, 2019.1.0a1 (both not rendering in scene / preview window)
Not reproduced with: 2017.4.11f1 (it renders on scene view, but not in preview)
Note:
-serializedVersion: 6 meshes are made with Unity 4. Unity 5.0 and newer creates serializedVersion: 8 meshes which are imported correctly.
