Postponed means that the issue was either a feature request or something that requires major refactoring on our side. Since that makes the issue not actionable in the close future we choose to close it as Postponed and add it on our internal roadmaps and technical debt pages instead.

2D Light GameObjects are not shown when searching for the Light type GameObjects in the Hierarchy
How to reproduce:
1. Open user's attached "test2dlights" project
2. Open the "SampleScene" Scene
3. In the Hierarchy search bar type "t: light"
Expected result: Both "Point Light 2D" and "Spot Light" are shown as a result of a search
Actual result: Only the "Spot Light" is returned as a result of a search
Reproducible with: 2019.2.0a1 (6.7.1), 2020.2.0a17 (8.1.0)
Could not test with: 2019.1.14f1 and older because 2D Lights were introduced in Lightweight RP 6.7.1 which is available in 2019.2.0a1 and later Unity version

Resolution Note:
This can't be fixed at the moment due to the fact that we need to maintain compatibility with LWRP. There are two Light2D classes right now in the package, one in the LWRP namespace, the other in the Universal namespace. That's why the type search doesn't return any result. A workaround is to use the fully qualified type name UnityEngine.Experimental.Rendering.Universal.Light2D.
