Xbox One controller does not work and is not recognized in Unity Editor when plugged in via USB cable
How to reproduce:
1. Extract and open the attached “ControllerTest.zip“ Project
2. Open the “contr test“ Scene
3. Connect “Xbox One” controller using a USB cable
4. Enter Play mode
5. Try moving the left Joystick
6. Observe the Game view
Expected Result: The values on the Game View change according to the left Joystick movement
Actual Result: The values on the Game View do not change
Reproducible with: 2022.1.0a4, 2022.3.62f1, 6000.0.51f1, 6000.1.8f1, 6000.2.0b5
Reproducible on: MacOS 15.5 Silicon
Not reproducible on: Win11
Note: When connected via Bluetooth, the “Xbox One” controller works and is recognized in the Input System package Input Debugger; however, when connected via USB, it is shown under “Unsupported” and does not work
