VFX Template sorting by modification or last used date is not consistent when switching areas
Steps to reproduce:
- Open the attached project
- In the Project window, Right-click and select the option to create a new Visual Effects graph
- In the VFX template window, set sorting to Last Used
- In the Search Query builder, add an Area block set to Packages
- Observe the List order
- Switch the Area block to All
- Observe the List order again
Actual results: List ordering changes despite the same templates being captured by the area query
Expected results: Since "Packages" and "All" area queries capture the same templates, ordering should remain consistent
Reproducible with versions: 6000.5.0a8
Can’t test with versions: 6000.0.70f1, 6000.3.10f1, 6000.4.0b12, 6000.5.0a4 (No search field in the Templates window)
Tested on (OS): Windows 11, macOS 26.3.1
Notes:
- Reproducible with Last Used and Modification Date sort options
