Occurs when you change any char in the asset's name from lowercase to uppercase.

This issue only occurs when you change the first character in an asset's name from lowercase to uppercase. This is a destructive bug and leads to a lot of confusing if not managed correctly. It is still present in 5.0.1p3.

It would be great if guidmapper could be updated with missing entries.

There is workaround with this issue. Just remove Library folder, or choose Assets->Reimport all.
But... in huge projects with a lot of content (>10GB) reimporting takes 3-4 HOURS on SSD drive!
The error occurs reguralry so, there is a need to reimport all every other day.
It's insane! Please fix it quick...

I just got this bug with v5.0.1 ; it didn't happen after a crash, though, but after I updated a few asset store packages.
