I'm using Unity 2017.2.0f3. I am also facing same issue. Can we reopen this issue. I tried reinstalling Unity. I followed many pages n Unity Answers and blogs. Tried various options like changing folder Advanced options -> Allows files in the folder to have contents indexed in addition to file properties. But no luck.
